Tonight, I had the pleasure of attending the Spooky Moonlit Market, and wow, what an adventure it turned out to be! The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, despite the horrible weather that decided to join us. We had tents flying, inventory getting soaked, glass crashing and winds that tested our resolve. But through it all, we braved the elements for the kiddos who came out trick-or-treating in full force.
The community really showed up in a big way. It was heartwarming to see so many families, kids in costumes, and local vendors pushing through the chaos to make it a special night for everyone. There was a real sense of camaraderie among the vendors, all of us supporting one another as we hunkered down and made the best of the wild weather for as long as we could.
As for me, my makeup for the event? Let’s just say it might have been a little too real for some of the younger ones! I might have scared a few kiddos, but I promise it was all in good Halloween fun. I loved hearing everyone’s reactions — the feedback was amazing!
Even with the weather's wrath, I’m thrilled to share that I made some sales, and two of my paintings found a new home
. I’m beyond grateful for the local support and for the chance to connect with the community in such a fun, spooky setting.
Here’s to more exciting events and hopefully fewer flying tents! Thank you to everyone who came out and to those who continue to support my art journey. You truly make it all worth it.
Much love,
Amy ~
